How many CEUs required for Texas nurses?
Texas Registered Nurses are required to complete at least 20 hours of continuing education units to renew their license.
Requirements specific to Registered Nurses in Texas
- If you are a texas nurse in the emergency room, you have to complete 2 hours of Forensic Evidence Collection For Sexual Assault Victims
- If you are a texas nurse you must complete 2 hours in a CEU related to Geriatrics
- For texas nurses, you must complete 2 hours in Ethics and Nursing Jurisprudence every 3rd license renewal.
- If you are a texas nurse, you must renew your license before the last day of your birth month.
